Thankful for You

I cannot believe summer is over, fall is here, and the holidays have begun! I am not simply thankful because it is the Thanksgiving holiday. I am truly thankful, during every step of this journey, for you. I will continue to be genuinely grateful for all of your support.

It is a solitary experience writing a book. However, it is far from a solitary endeavor. No matter how spectacularly magical a novel is, if no one knows about it, it can only go so far.

In a few short months, you have helped Essie's Roses become a #2 Amazon Kindle bestselling novel in its respective categories in Literary & Historical fiction. It has even garnered a few awards!

I am forever grateful you chose to stand behind this novel and go the extra mile by leaving your reviews, sharing my book news, and telling your friends. It has made a difference for this debut author, and I hope Essie's Roses continues to have a chance at finding new readers and opportunities.

Thank you for saying yes to Essie's Roses, and sharing its story of love and freedom. You didn’t know me, Essie, Evie, Miss Katie, or Delly, but you welcomed us into your hearts. You are not just readers or encouraging fans (as some of you like to tell me)–you are friends, and I’m thankful you took my heart that is this story and cared for it so. That Essie’s Roses inspired you enough to be overjoyed and go beyond reading a book by sharing its message. I am sincerely grateful.

Happy Thanksgiving Michelle Muriel www.michellemuriel.com

I wish you joy and plenty at your table this Thanksgiving. Most of all, I wish you peace, health, and safety.
